IT Project Manager

Rite-Solutions, Inc., a growing and innovative CMMI Level III software and systems engineering company, is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Project Manager in the Middletown, RI area.

Job Description:

Rite-Solutions is seeking an IT Project Manager to provide on-site support to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for the administration of various IT projects. The first project will be the expansion of the current version of the Helpdesk Ticket System (IET) into a Self-Service system, utilizing available modules that have not been used in the past.  This will require planning of technology projects, managing our team of IT professionals, implementing technology security and executing all of the technology-related tasks and initiatives.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accomplish information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
• Be familiar with DoD/ Navy/NUWCDIVNPT policy including DITPR-Don and DADMs programs
• Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies

• Deploy IT initiatives with structured project management experience
• Identify solutions to unusual and complex problems with capable, solid analytical/ problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate expert proficiency in a wide range of information IT security technologies, embedded security, and platforms

Additional Requirements:

• 10+ years of DoD/Navy/NUWCDIVNPT project management experience in IT projects
• Secret clearance
• Excellent communication skills required
• Military or government experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
