Program Manager

Rite-Solutions, Inc., a growing and innovative CMMI Level 3 software and systems engineering company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Program Manager candidate.  This opening is a full-time position providing obsolescence planning support to a major submarine program office located in Washington, D.C.  

Job Description:

The Program Manager acts as a Subject Matter Expert concerning the analysis, planning, and projecting of obsolescence in electrical systems (specifically, HM&E systems) for a major shipboard program. Specific duties include:

• Act as the main liaison on behalf of Submarine Program Office and major organizations such as Navy Field Activities, Ship Builders, and Contractors to collect and coordinate obsolescence data
• Develop a technology refresh program, including replacement, repair, and maintenance support
• Develop outyear plans and budget inputs, including fleet scheduling
• Meet regularly with various stakeholders and submarine program office leadership to collect data and convey holistic view of program requirements

Requirements:

• Must have exceptional leadership skills and communications skills
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline
• Ten (10) years of experience in ship design/planning
• Five (5) years of management experience on a major DoD program
• Five (5) years of management experience with Navy contract including quality of products and services, schedules, cost control, business relations, and management of personnel that includes:
  • Demonstrated aptitude and capacity for conducting program management in alignment with DoD structure, Policy, and Mission
  • Demonstrated aptitude and capacity for conducting program management, leadership and responsibility in DoD contracting
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in formal reports with higher authorities (e.g. DoD clients)
• Must possess a Secret security clearance
• Position requires U.S. citizenship
