Senior Network Security Engineer

Rite-Solutions, Inc., a growing and innovative CMMI Level 3 software and systems engineering company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Network Security Engineer candidate in the Dahlgren, VA area.  This opening is a full-time position providing network administration support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren.  NSWC Dahlgren provides system administration support on commercial and tactical developmental host networks, virtual environments, cloud environments, and computer systems for a variety of customers. The Senior Network Security Engineer position detailed here is for work currently being bid. Should the contract be awarded, we will be hiring for the type of future employee described below.

Job Description

The Senior Network Security Engineer acts as a Subject Matter Expert concerning the maintenance, upgrade, installation and configuration of multiple Information Technology (IT) networks.  Specific duties include:

• Provide technical support to the computers, servers and network operations within the on-premise data center and cloud
• Provide technical support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of SharePoint, Project, Office Web Apps and Team Foundation Server within the on-premise data center and cloud
• Provide technical support for installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Engineering Tools, Applications and Plug-ins within the on-premise data center and cloud
• Perform database management using Microsoft SQL and Oracle to store and organize data

Requirements

• Strong F5 skillset required - Preferably F5 Certified Technology Specialist or Certified Solution Expert, F5 Edge Protection, Experience in F5 LTM - VIP, Server Pools, Health Checks
• Strong experience in customizing Application Delivery with rules, Understanding of NAT (Network Address Translation) and SNAT (Source Network Address Translation), Managing application health and server status, SSL Offloadind, TLS security and cipher management, BIG-IP Access Policy Manager (APM) in a DoD environment
• 10 years of experience in Network Design and Implementation, with a strong specialization in F5 Load Balancing and Application Delivery (ADM) Management
• 3 years of  experience in providing high level network design and implementation skills and combine technical intelligence with communication and presentation abilities
• 3 years of experience in leading a project in Design, Implementation, and Support
• 2 years of  DNS experience with understanding of DDoS mitigation practices
• Familiarity with NetScalar preferred
• Juniper switch experience is a plus (Layer 4/Layer 5 Appliances) Specify Layer 7 for F5
• Must possess appropriate Cybersecurity Workforce certification IAW DoD 8570.01M
• Must possess a Secret security clearance
• Position requires U.S. Citizenship
