Job Description

Rite Solutions, Inc. is seeking  Integrated Logistics Specialist candidates in support of NSWC Philadelphia Detachment, Philadelphia, PA. The Submarine Systems Logistician shall perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy. 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide lifecycle logistics support addressing all twelve DOD recognized logistics elements.
• Provide acquisition logistics support for the development, modification, and upgrade of various U.S. Navy Submarine Communications and Surveillance systems including: AN/BRR-6, AN/BRA-24, Common Submarine Radio Room, RFDACS and SubHDR Programs.
• Develop, review, update, provide recommendations, prepare, and/or evaluate technical documentation such as repair standards, data packages, drawings, specifications, test plans, and procedures including Document Change Orders (DCOs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Engineering Orders (EOs) and Technical Directives (TDs).
• Provide regular reports to supervisor and/or other management personnel concerning logistics activities.
• Knowledge and experience with practices and procedures for CMMI Software Development Level 3 or greater is a plus.
• Position requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance with the US Government.

Required knowledge and experience includes but is not limited to:

• Working knowledge of DoD supply, provisioning, documentation, and ILS systems.
• Familiarity with relevant Navy and specific submarine concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Experience with writing, development, maintenance, staffing of logistics acquisition and sustainment documentation such as Item Unique Identification (IUID), Configuration Management, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources, and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Plans.

Qualifications:

• Must qualify for a security clearance.
• Must be able to access and work in a Government office and/or industrial work environment.
• Must be available for overtime or alternate shifts as required.
• Must have good communication and leadership skills.
• Associates level degree or equivalent and three (3) years professional experience in integrated logistics support, or a high school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate and eight (8) years professional or Navy experience in submarine systems integrated logistics support.
• CDMD-OA, One Touch, ICAPS, NSLC, OARS, TDMIS, CITIS, SUBMEPP, or NSEDR familiarity/experience a plus.
